Data Security

The Plus Technologies Inspection Mobile App is built on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Platform.  This platform is built on a secure information foundation comprised of security, compliance, privacy and transparency.  Key features include:

• Your data belongs to you.  Neither Microsoft nor Plus Technologies own your information. 
• Security is built in.  All information is stored in Australian datacenters with 24 hour monitoring. Dedicated threat management teams proactively anticipate, prevent and mitigate malicious access.  Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.  Threat management detects and prevents tampering of data.
• Privacy is built into the solution.  Data is never mined for advertising purposes or sold to other parties.  Your data is used only for purposes consistent with providing services you have paid for.
• Transparency of operations.  We maintain multiple copies of your data, across datacenters, for redundancy, and we share with you where your data is located.  We tell you who has access to your data and under what circumstances. 

The platform also complies with various international security standards, including ISO27001, ISO27018, SSAE16, FISMA, HIPAA BAA, EU Model Clauses and the Cloud Security Alliance.
